Who can play in Baltimore Youth Flag Football?
Any child in the 6U through 14U age range can play. Age is set by the season cutoff date, so a player's division depends on how old they are on that date, not on their grade or school.
Where are games played?
Games are played on fields across Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Every game listed on the schedule shows its venue and kickoff time.
Is flag football safe for young kids?
Flag football is non-contact. Players pull flags instead of tackling, coaches are screened, and first-aid coverage is on site at league game days.
Do players need their own team to register?
No. Families can register with an existing team, ask the league to place their player on one, or join the waitlist if a division is full.
What does registration include?
Registration covers the regular season slate, a division playoff path to the 410 Championship, a uniform, and coverage of games through The 410 Show.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. The league runs a scholarship fund covering registration, uniforms and equipment for families who need it. Requests are handled privately through the community page.
